Following our work on the Scarlet Letter, Mrs. Stollar Slover had to move on to our short stories. We read through multiple short stories, one after the other. When we reached the short story, Charming Billy, Mrs. Stollar Slover saw it fit that we complete a narrative to get a better understanding of the content. The narrative was suppose to be based on anyone's perspective of the Vietnam War. I wrote my story on the perspective of a nurse who gets overwhelmed and flees the hospital; eventually, this nurse gets caught in a firefight and understands that she needs to help these soldiers.

Completing this narrative was not only to give us a better understanding at the Vietnam War, it was meant to put us into the perspective of someone participating in the war and in doing so, it would help us understand their identity. My overall grade on this was a 93% which is an improvement from my last paper.
